Mid and Enrty Level A/V Integrator Installer
This position will consist of the following and require knowledge in:
• Installing and servicing integrated systems consisting of Control4 Systems, Lutron Lighting and Shade Control and other home automation systems
• Network Integration, Programming and Management of Connected Home Concepts
• Knowledge of Apple and/or Windows Based platforms
• Installation of distributed whole home audio and video systems
• We represent many luxury and high end brands such as Bowers & Wilkins, Classe, Lutron, Control4, Access Networks, Araknis Netwroks, NAD Master Series, Barco, AudioQuest, Kaleidescape, Sonus Faber, SONY ES, Stewart Film Screens, Rega, Sunbrite, Apple and many others.
As an AVE Installation Specialist you may be expected to (depending on your Tech level):
• Pre-wire homes and commercial buildings under construction for future A/V and home automation projects
• Pull audio/video/phone & data wire throughout residential and commercial buildings
• Install TVs, music systems, speakers (floor, wall mounted and/or recessed), entry systems, motorized shades and computer networks
• Install (and program, if applicable) whole home automation systems including light, shade, and HVAC control systems, video distribution systems, distributed home audio, security and camera systems
• Create, contribute and share new ideas and information in a positive environment
• Pull audio/video/phone & data wire throughout residential and commercial buildings
• Install TVs, music systems, speakers (floor, wall mounted and/or recessed), entry systems, motorized shades and computer networks
• Install (and program, if applicable) whole home automation systems including light, shade, and HVAC control systems, video distribution systems, distributed home audio, security and camera systems
• Create, contribute and share new ideas and information in a positive environment
As a Qualified AVE Installation Specialist you should possess the following:
• Provide your own tools, consumables will be provided by AVE
• Basic knowledge in audio/video equipment preferred as well as network set-up and administration.
• Basic construction knowledge
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds independently
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Good communication skills.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, and the ability to learn quickly
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication skills in all forms
• The ability to provide superior customer service
• A thorough understanding of technology as well as an understanding of networks
• Proficiency with computers - both PC's and Mac's
